About Atlas
Atlas is provided by Vabø Consulting, organization number 923 840 958 (“we”). Atlas is a tool for owners who rent out a holiday home: booking site, guest page, rental agreement, payments, calendar, tasks and guest registration.
These terms apply when you create an account and use Atlas. The privacy policy explains how we process personal data: https://atlasstays.app/en/privacy
Accounts and organizations
You create an account with email or with Google, and link it to a company or organization for your lettings. You can invite others as owner, administrator, member or caretaker.
You are responsible for what happens with your account and for who you give access to. The information you give must be correct.
Payment models
Card via Stripe: Atlas is free. Guests pay by card to your own Stripe account, and Atlas takes 1 % of each guest card payment, on top of Stripe's own fees. You enter into the Stripe Connected Account Agreement directly with Stripe: https://stripe.com/legal/connect-account. On refunds, Atlas's share is refunded proportionally.
Invoice with KID: NOK 499 a month or NOK 4,990 a year. The subscription is paid in advance by card through Stripe. Guests pay you by bank transfer with KID, and you mark invoices as paid. You can cancel at any time; the subscription then runs to the end of the period you have paid for and isn't renewed.
You can switch models. If you switch from invoice with KID to card via Stripe, the subscription isn't renewed but runs to the end of the paid period.
Atlas may give codes that make invoice with KID free for a number of months or with no end date. A code can be withdrawn before it's used.
If we change prices, we notify you by email at least 30 days before the change applies to you.
Your responsibility as a landlord
You are the landlord and the seller to your guests. You are responsible for licences and permits, local letting rules, registering guests with the authorities, taxes and duties, and the content of your rental agreement and terms.
Atlas gives you tools, not legal or tax advice. Templates for rental agreements and other documents must be reviewed by your own lawyer or adviser before you use them.
Your guests' information
You are the controller for information about your guests. Atlas processes it on your behalf, only to deliver the service, as described in the privacy policy. You must have a basis for the information you enter and inform your guests about the processing.
Acceptable use
You may not use Atlas for anything unlawful, to mislead guests, to send unwanted email, or to get around security or put abnormal load on the service. You may not upload content you don't have the right to use.
Availability
We do our best to keep Atlas available and working correctly, but the service is provided “as is”, without a guarantee that it's always available or free of errors. We may change and develop features.
Limitation of liability
We are not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profit or lost bookings. Our total liability is limited to what you have paid Atlas in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits don't apply where the law doesn't allow them, for example for intent or gross negligence.
Suspension and termination
You can leave at any time by cancelling your subscription and asking us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and will warn you first where possible.
On termination you can ask for a copy of your data at post@atlasstays.app. We then delete it, except what the law requires us to keep.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. We notify you of material changes by email well before they apply. If you use Atlas after a change applies, you accept the new terms.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Send questions about the terms to post@atlasstays.app.
